Is there any way in Pro/Intralink 3.2 to export the folder structure as is along with the Pro-E file content in it ?

Assigned Activity does not appear at first time
Hi.
I have problem with assigning task for the role.
I have soft type of WTPart with defined for it LifeCycle and Workflow (first state of softtype is IN WORK and workflow starts at this state).
There is Assigned Activity in workflow assigned to some role (let it be MyRole). When i create my WTPart softtype instance the appropriate workflow starts (i can see it in log). But user with role MyRole can not see task in tasks table.
Then if i invoke action "Reassign Life Cycles -> Use initial state of Life Cycle template" for wtpart, i can seen in log that workflow restarts and user with role MyRole can see the task specified for him in workflow.
Why task does not appear at first time?

Windchill - EPM Document Master object is not unique ??
Hello. We have just moved from Intralink 3.4 to Windchill 10.0. We did this yesterday. As expected, we are encountering some bumps in the road. Most of our issues are because we are all learning a new system. Overall, the system seems to be working the way it should, and we are just experiencing problems because we don't know what we're doing.
But we have one problem that we can't seem to overcome. More than once, we've gotten errors when trying to upload a new object. Here are the steps taken leading up to this:
We create a new .prt which has an associated .drw. We are able to upload the .prt but are unable to upload the .drw file. There is an error message saying "Upload failed. See event manager for details." Okay, so checking the event manager, I see that the error says "EPM Document Master - xxxxx.drw is not unique". It sounds as though it thinks that an object with this name already exists in the database. But that is definitely not the case. I have searched, and there is nothing with this name. The part number also includes a job number that is unique within our company, so I just know that there's nothing with this part number in the database already. And it hasn't happened with one isolated item. It has happened three times already in two days. In all cases, we are able to upload the .prt file but got this error with the .drw file.
Does anybody have any idea what this error means or how we can get past it? We are a day and a half into our Windchill life, and other than this, things are going fairly smoothly. But not being able to check in new drawings is a big deal!! Help!!

I need to ensure the MFG Team views only Released Drawings . I modified the Lifecycle state's Access Control and unchecked all permissions for Released State for MFG team . But the policies aren't taking effect

Windchill 10.2 Revise on checkin
Is there a way to choose for a file to advance the version of a document or CAD file when it is being checked in? It can be done after it has been checked in but that is AFTER a new iteration has already been made.
For example:
File.doc Version A.1 is checked out, revised and checked back in. This a new version and idealy I would like to be able to specify that so when I check it back in it becomes File.doc Version B.1. What happens now is it auto advances the iteration to A.2 then I have to manually "revise" it in windchill to be B.1. I can see this causing confusion in the future because the file history will say A.1-->A.2-->B.1 instead of A.1-->B.1.
Is there a setting or option I am missing that will allow me to do this? Has anyone run into this before? Thanks

Adding restricted values for Soft Type attributes EPMDoc PDMLink 10.1
Hello
it would appear that in 10.1 it is necessary to restart the windchill services in order for the changes in the restricted values for the soft attributes of EPMDocument to take effect ? Is that correct ?
I remember this was the case in 9.0 but PTC improved their product in 9.1 where changes took effect as soon as EPMDoc was checked in.
I am wondering, if this is true, why this step backward ? It is a lot of disturbance for the users just for adding new restricted values?
Is there any other way I am not aware of ?

Critical Microsoft Update for IE10 make PDMLink 10.1M040 having problem

on 9th July 2014, Microsoft released a critical update for IE10. After this got applied, our users complained that PDMLink did not work correctly.
Comment from one of our users
When clicking on the information icon for anything, document, Promotion Request etc and window pops up saying "Windows Internet Explorer has stopped working & needs to restart".
Once page comes back (with the page I was after loaded) a message on the bottom of the page saying that something on the webpage is causing the webpage to shut down (or words to that effect).
Has someone else experienced this ? What should we expect. A new patch from Microsoft or PTC ?

Bulk "Set State" on Documents
I have a large collection fo PDFs and I need to set them all from "In Work" to "Released" state. If they were all in the same folder this would be a simple action but since they are all in different file trees the only way I have been able to get them all together is using the search. For some reason the search function will not allow me to select more than one and "Set State." The action is just not there when I select more than one. Is there a way to do this? Why is it an allowed action to individual objects but I cant do them all at once??
I can provide screenshots and more details if needed.

Unable to view CAD document Subtype in "Create New Cad Document" UI
Hi,
I have created one subtype under the EPMDocument>CADDocument.
it is called ABCCADDocument.
I expected this to be available in the dropdown "Type" when I create a new CAD Document in the Workspace.
But Iam only getting the parent CAD Document type only.
I am sure that people have faced this issue.
What is the solution to get the new subtype also in the UI of windchill.
Please note that Iam creating the CAD Document not from CAD (Catia or Pro/E), but from the Windchill Workspace side, this is as per my company practise.
The same behaviour is observed in the CAD Document creation screen through Create new part > "Create CAD Document" option checked.

Iam able to perfectly create the object of type ABCCADDocument from CAD using the attribute "UPLOAD_SOFT_TYPE = <Domain>. ABCCADDocument.

cannot add CAD objects to workspace
Hello guys,
Here is my question: I would like to download an assembly to a workspace, but I'm not able to do that and the error message is:
Server error: Cannot retrieve family table neutral data
I also try with a simple part and I had the same issue.
I try with differents login, as designer or administrator.
Someone knows this issue? how solve it??
